This session will address the traditional proxy voting responsibilities of fiduciaries (specifically for investment advisers and bank fiduciaries), the robust SEC regulations regarding proxy voting, and the recent SEC guidance regarding the retention and oversight of proxy advisory firms. We will also review the steps involved in developing and implementing a strong proxy voting compliance program.
