Business Risk Management Coordinator

REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reports to the Chief Risk Officer
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
The Business Risk Management Coordinator is responsible for ongoing monitoring of third-party providers, ensuring compliance with company policies and adherence to company vendor management programs. Periodic due diligence is performed on third-party vendors based on company vendor management standards. Business continuity responsibilities include the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of the business continuity management program to ensure the continuation of business operations in the event of an emergency. Responsibilities include guiding market leaders in each line of business in the development of business continuity plans, assisting in identifying recovery time objectives, and establishing resources required for a timely resumption of business operations. Prepare risk assessments and risk reports for management committee review, including recommendations regarding termination of vendor relationships and business locations for annual disaster recovery testing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing each third-party relationship throughout the vendor management lifecycle.
- Responsible for on-boarding vendors utilized by all lines of business onto the company vendor management system.
- Develop and maintain all aspects of company vendor management programs.
- Review various vendor System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports for operating effectiveness of controls, ensuring controls tested cover processes included in contract.
- Prepare vendor risk assessments, due diligence and efficiency analysis.
- Maintain company Business Continuity Management (BCM) program.
- Assist market leaders in determining Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) for each business process.
- Using a risk-based approach, determine regions/offices to participate in annual disaster recovery testing.
- Coordinate regions/offices included in each annual disaster recovery test with company Information Technology (IT) department.
- Assist Chief Risk Officer perform risk functions that ensure safety and soundness.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's in Business Administration or a related field.
- Familiarity with vendor management regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with business continuity management regulatory requirements.
PREFERRED:
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Certification
- Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) Certification or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Governance/Risk/Compliance (GRC) systems
