FIRMA Code of Conduct

As a FIRMA member, one must agree to uphold the highest degree of moral, ethical and fiduciary standards as set forth in the following Code of Conduct:

• Uphold and support the mission and purpose of FIRMA.
• Act with integrity, competence, and dignity.
• Use reasonable care and exercise independent professional judgment.
• Promote sound risk management practices and professional ethical standards.
• Maintain and strengthen professional competence through continuing professional education including, but not limited to, industry conferences, seminars, and courses.
• Encourage and promote professional competence and ethical conduct of others in the industry.
• Keep FIRMA informed and report violations of the FIRMA Code of Conduct.
