This session will look at how to identify the most common pro- hibited transactions within an Individual Retirement Account, the unique assets involved, and how to mitigate the associated risks. Together, we will do a deep dive into the issues of holding alternative investments in an IRA such as “sweat equity.” We will end our discussion with a review of best practices in the ever challenging environment of retirement savings as it relates to the DOL Fiduciary Rule impact and other regulatory topics.
